In Memory of Gil A. Padilla

This fun event is a tribute to and in memory of our loving husband, father, and dear friend Gil A. Padilla. If you love to golf or love night events, then this is the tournament for you! Enjoy 9 holes of afternoon golf, dinner, and 9 holes of night golf with the course brilliantly lit by LED lights and glow in the dark golf balls.

All proceeds will be distributed to Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County, which serves more than 2,700 kids & teens locally. Through the history of our tournament, we have donated over $3,000.00 to the Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation for Scholarships to CSU Pueblo; over $15,000 to United Way of Pueblo; and $5,000 to the Pueblo Downtown Association. Because of the tremendous need in our community for after-school programming and our belief in investing in the future of our community, this year we have chosen the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County as our sole charity. We hope to aid in the efforts to not only expand the Clubs’ reach, but also to aid in its efforts to provide quality out-of-school time programming.

Over the last seven years, the community has helped us raise over $105,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of Pueblo County. This year, we are hoping to increase sponsorship and sell out 36 teams at our tournament, so we can impact Pueblo’s youth. We are asking for your participation as well as your support for our event and our cause. Please see the list on the back of this letter for sponsorship opportunities.

We hope you will sincerely consider recruiting teams to participate in this unique event. Thank you in advance for your sponsorship and support.
